My calendar to schedule meetings

As you know, I'm using Openbox + Tint2 on OpenBSD. Tint2 is a very nice panel bar which has lot of flexibility. On this page I'm presenting my calendar application which allow you to copy/paste the selected dates.
I do no know if this will be useful, but it was fun for me to develop it. I spent only few hours to have it. And it's rare to mention, it runs on windows too.

I'm a big fan of cron on my servers to trigger several tasks: monitoring reports, backups, security checks, ... But I was annoyed that on laptops such tasks are not possible. Mainly because the laptop does not always run, or is not always connected to the correct network.
So, as explained in one of my previous blog, existing solution does not fully fit my needs. So, vdcron was born.

I was looking for a simple cron like tool that help me to perform tasks on one specific day on my laptop and desktops.
Unfortunately the embedded cron in OpenBSD is not foreseen for workstations or laptop that we shutdown (or hibernate) regularly.

After having developed my own version of PyPanel, I finally prefer Tint2 which offers lot of flexibility and, in fact, match all my requirements. Let me explain you how I'm using this small peace of code.

I propose you a small script allowing you to easily manage your networks connections. This script is integrated within the openbox dynamic menus. Moreover, it allow you to automatically have the connections you have pre-defined based.

On some machines we are forced to perform the not recommended upgrade procedure. Since several years I'm applying this method on 2 of my machines without problems.
But, after the upgrade process of OpenBSD from 6.0 to 6.1, syspatch was not running as it should.
